Editor and freelancer bodies pledge closer ties

As a constituent body of the Press Council of South Africa, the South African National Editors’ Forum (SANEF), together with the Southern African Freelancers’ Association (SAFREA), has taken an important step towards strengthening collaboration in support of media freelancers. This initiative underscores the Press Council’s commitment to fostering unity across the media sector, advancing ethical journalism, and promoting professional rights and protections for editors and freelancers alike.
